Bollywood Star Salman Khan had four back to back flops before Wanted became a huge success. His career and also that of the producer Boney Kapoor’s was on the line before the release of Prabhu Deva’s big B-town debut and thankfully Wanted went on to become the second biggest grosser in Bollywood this year. However Prem Soni’s Main Aurr Mrs Khanna which is yet again another extra marital love story had been ready for a year now and it’s only because of Wanted being a mega hit is it getting to see the light of day now.
A source added, “Financiers had their doubts with Main Aurr Mrs Khanna before Wanted as the film has the same old storyline of that of a extra marital love story and it didn’t have something new to offer. Sohail Khan too hasn’t been able to create a foothold in the Industry making it even more sceptical for them to let the film release this year. However after Wanted the rest was history and they’re all trying to bank on Salman Khan’s newfound mega superstar success.” Prem Soni however denied such rumours and stated, “The concept is completely new and fresh, the film has a lot of offer and the audiences will realise that this Oct 16th.”
Salman Khan too has said that Main Aurr Mrs Khanna is a sweet and simple love story and masses will identify with the storyline and concept of the film. Still the source adds, “Salman Khan would rather focus all of his attention to Vipul Shah’s London Dreams as it already has started to create a lot of buzz with him reuniting with Ajay Devgn after 9 years. Also the production value, storyline and music is also one of the many highlights of the film. And after that is Veer, which is Salman’s baby and he’s focusing all his attention to the film, so if MAMK does well, then he’d be more than happy and if not, it wouldn’t really make much of a difference to him.”

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s presence at a theatre here caused a mad rush as hundreds of fans thronged the venue to catch a glimpse of the actor.
The press conference for the actor’s upcoming film ’Veer’ at Prasad’s IMAX theatre went smoothly but commotion ensued as soon as the crowds outside came to know about Khan’s presence.
A large number of people were present at the theatre and after seeing the OB vans of different TV channels parked outside they came to know that Salman was in town.
The crowd waited outside the venue of the press conference on the second floor of the theatre and tried to rush towards the actors when Salman Khan came out and waved to his fans.
Screaming fans jostled to have a glimpse of the actors and went out of control. When they tried to reach the second floor through the escalators, it got stuck due to the heavy crowd. “Glass panes alongside the escalators broke even as people fell on each other, though no one was hurt and nothing untoward happened,” an official at IMAX said.
A police official supervising the security at the venue told PTI that no one was injured and it was just commotion caused by crowds pulling and pushing each other.
“The theatre was packed with fans and many of them rushed towards the stars through the escalators and some of them fell,” he said.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan and Zarine Khan were moved away from the theatre through another entrance.

The success of 'Saajan' and 'Karan Arjun' reconfirmed his status as the industry's "next big thing".

After a couple of years of modest accomplishments, 1994 saw the release of "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun", his second venture with director Sooraj Barjatya after 'MPK'. It was among the biggest hits of that decade and was perhaps the first Bollywood movie to do well overseas.

The film got Salman a lot of accolades besides establishing him as one of the industry's most "bankable" stars.

Since then, he has belted out one big hit after another. Over the years, he has given several successful performances in 'Judwaa', 'Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya', 'Biwi No 1', 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', 'No Entry' and 'Partner'.

No, I've never stopped her from doing a film with John or with anybody else, it's her life, her career, but I've just put my foot down on one idiot.

Salman Khan’s most ambitious film till date Veer has been scheduled for a November 27th release date. But on the same date Dharma Productions’ yet untitled Saif Ali Khan – Kareena Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi starrer directed by Rensil D’Silva is also being planned for a release. It will be for the first time that any of Salman’s film will clash with old foe Vivek Oberoi’s. While, Salman written Veer is a much bigger project, said to be having 100 crore budget, Vivek’s film can prove tough competition to Veer because of its topical subject and coming together of Karan Johar and UTV’s smart marketing strategies. It is learnt to have a plot line quiet similar to that of 1999 released Hollywood thriller, Arlington Road. In the film, Saif and Kareena play a Muslim couplewho are terrorists living a double life. Vivek is the second lead in the film and he is also a terrorist. Minissha Lamba plays a journalist who is his love interest. Om Puri also has an important role in the film. Irrfan was approached to play the role of a terrorist in the film but he turned it down.
One can recollect, in April 2003, Vivek Oberoi had held a press conference at his house complaining about Salman Khan harassing him over phone and giving him life threats for his then relationship with Aishwarya Rai. Salman had that time not reacted to the negative publicity he got from this episode but it is learnt that he made sure that Vivek was almost ostracized by most industrywalas. After his break up with Aish, Vivek has on many occasions attempted brokering peace with Salman, but the controversial Khan has always chose to ignore him and hinted that he will never forgive him. -Sampurn Media

Salman Khan

Salman Khan has been wearing a blue sapphire bracelet for quite sometime now. The bracelet is his lucky charm and Salman Khan does not leave the house without it. He has even been seen wearing it in all his recent movies.
Now filmmaker Boney Kapoor is banking on this lucky charm for his forthcoming Salman Khan starrer, “Wanted”.
Apparently the posters of the film will not show Salman Khan but will only feature the bracelet on his hand.
The shooting of the film is over and it is expected to release in July provided that the ongoing war between the producers and multiplexes comes to an end.
Meanwhile, one good thing has happened to Salman.
After being criticised for putting on too much weight and ageing badly, Sallu had taken good friend Aamir Khan’s advice seriously and given up drinking in December.
And the results are showing. Sallu has already lost 10 kgs and gone are his sagging double chin and puffy eyes.

Veer is of a different genre
Salman Khan says period dramas usually give the impression that people in past eras never used to laugh, but promises that his new movie ‘Veer’ will have its light moments. "We haven`t followed the regular format. This has emotion, drama and comedy unlike other period films, which always casts an impression that no one used to laugh in those days," Salman told reporters in an interview.
"The language has undergone a huge change. The dialogues are in contemporary language but would show that people of that time used to speak and behave like this," he added.
"Veer", slated to release Jan 22, is a story of bravery, treachery and love. The story revolves around the 18th century Pindaris who preferred death to dishonour and fought to their last breath to save their land. Salman plays the lead role.
Throwing light on how his co-star Zarine Khan joined the cast, Salman said: "The film is of a different genre, so we needed a young fresh look. More than that we needed somebody with a yesteryear look. How our grandmothers and great grandmothers used to look, we needed someone like them.

Few years back, “Peoples” magazine declared him as one of the ten best
looking men in the world. But 1998 was also the year this brawny brat flexed his muscles at the Bollywood box office. How? Well, he had three smash hits in a row Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai and Bandhan. Add to this, a dashing guest appearance in the blockbuster, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. In other words, it was the year of reckoning for Salman Khan, who had finally arrived at the pinnacle after being dismissed repeatedly by the trade denizens despite participating in history creating blockbusters over the years.

Among the under garment world there exists a small top with spaghetti string straps. These garments are called camisoles and are wonderful outfits for sleeping or for a romantic sexy night with someone special. They are generally made of several different materials including cotton, satin, silk or nylon. Some of the fabric has solid sections with sheer or netting in discrete places. This makes for a nice view!
These camisoles are usually a set with a t-shirt style top that comes down to the waist and a matching panty. Some shirts are short-sleeved while others have the straps. There are full and crotchless panties with full or open bust shirts. No matter your personal preference, all camisoles are full of comfort and completely sexy. Nowadays camisoles are not only worn as under garments but are frequently found under a favorite shirt or jacket to give a classy, sexy look to any ensemble. They are almost always form fitting so as to accent curves in a subtle, sensuous manner. Like many other words in our vocabulary, the name has been shortened from camisole to "cami" as of late. (Interestingly, camisole in clinical terms means straightjacket. Have fun with that one, but don't go nuts!) Some camis even have an underwire for support, while others are made of Spandex for support and control.
Camisoles are versatile. That lovely white blouse you love to wear to the club - the one that is a bit too see-through - can have a cami worn underneath it to look stylish and sexy with just a bit of conservatism so as to not be too revealing. How about that navy denim jacket you have been dying to wear if only you could find the right blouse? Well, a cami is the answer for this fashion frustration with a sporty, sexy look. Also, throw a cami over your bathing suit while on the way to the beach or pool, or even wear it by itself to sunbathe. The uses are endless so use your imagination!
Camisoles are a "must have" in your wardrobe ' and lots of them! You can get them inexpensively in a variety of styles, colors, and even prints. Have a whole collection of them so that when the mood strikes, you have the right cami to fit your needs. They can be worn casually, professionally or for sexy fun on a dreamy evening out or in. They look great in private settings and in the public eye, and are simply a fantastic piece of clothing everyone should have on hand. Buy them, wear them, accessorize with them, build an outfit around them, or simply wear them with nothing else. They are sexy and comfortable any way you look at it!
